Naivasha is a popular tourist destination and its focal places to visit include;

Established in 1984, Hells Gate National Park boasts a wide variety of wildlife including buffaloes, giraffes, hartebeests and zebras among others. The park has beautiful landscape that offers breathtaking views of the scenery. You can hire a car with a driver for a guided tour or go on self drive any time of the year.

Lake Naivasha; this lake got its name from a Masai word Nai’posha which translates as “rough water”. The name came up because of the sudden storms that occasionally arose from the lake. Lake Naivasha is a fresh water lake popularly known for its huge populations of hippos and various bird species.
Crescent Island Game sanctuary; this is one of the best places to easily access for wildlife viewing. Among the animals it protects include dik dik, impala, gazelles, zebras, giraffes and steenok. Nature walks reward tourists with views of the above-mentioned animals and varied bird species.

The top of the mountain has steep ridges which offer stunning views. The mountain as a whole also offers stunning views.
