The Aberdare National Park is located on the Aberdare Mountain range in the central part of Kenya. The park is situated about 100km north of Nairobi, the capital of Kenya. It sits on altitudes from 2,000m to 4,000m above the sea level. The park that covers an area of 766 square kilometers was established in May 1950. It was established to protect the Aberdare mountains and is popularly known for the site where Princess Elizabeth stayed at the Treetops Hotel in 1952.

Hiking: Hiking tours are conducted from the elephant hills to the Le Satima and Kinangop peaks. The adventures offer great views of various waterfalls such as the Karuru falls, Zaina falls and the Gura falls.
